scratchy
/ˈskɹætʃi/ adj**Scratchy** describes anything that feels like a cat’s claws on your skin, a record that sounds like it’s been chewed by a tiny hamster, or a radio signal that decides to throw a tantrum of static. It can also label a person who snaps at you before their morning coffee. In short, it’s the auditory or tactile equivalent of an unwelcome itch.
