vividity

/vɪvˈɪdᵻɾi/ noun

Synonym of vividness.

Word Origin From Latin 'vivere' (to live) — vivid means 'lively, full of life,' and vividity is the quality of being vivid. The viv- root is the same as in survive, revive, and vivacious. The PIE root *gwei- meant 'to live,' and also gives us quick (originally 'alive') and biology (study of life). So vividity is literally 'life-ness.'
