inseparability

/ɪnsˌɛpɚɹəbˈɪlᵻɾi/ noun

The condition of being inseparable

Word Origin From Latin separare 'to divide' — literally 'to make apart' (se- 'apart' + parare 'to prepare, arrange'). Inseparable means 'not able to be separated.' The root parare 'to prepare' also gives us prepare (make ready beforehand), compare (bring together to match), and repair (make ready again). The PIE root *pere- 'to produce, procure' is behind many words.
