undistinguishable

/ʌndɪstˈɪŋɡwɪʃəbəl/ adj

Imperceptible; indistinct.

Word Origin Undistinguishable is the negative of distinguishable, which comes from Latin distinguere 'to mark off' — literally 'to prick apart' (dis- + stinguere 'to prick'). The root stinguere also gives us distinct, extinguish (put out), and instinct (a natural impulse). So undistinguishable means you can't prick out the differences; everything blurs together.

adj Imperceptible; indistinct.

The sound was so faint it was almost undistinguishable from the background noise.

(adjetivo) Imperceptible; indistinto.
