reconcilability

/ɹˌɛkənsˌaɪləbˈɪlᵻɾi/ noun

The property of being reconcilable.

Word Origin From Latin conciliare 'to bring together, unite', from calare 'to call, summon' — so reconcile is literally 'to call together again.' Reconcilability is the quality of being able to be reconciled. The root calare also gives council (a called group), counsel (advice), and conciliate (to win over). The PIE root *kehl- meant 'to call, shout'.
