attemptable

/ætˈɛmptəbəl/ adj

Capable of being attempted, tried, or attacked.

Word Origin From Latin attemptare 'to try, test,' from ad- 'to' and temptare 'to feel, test' — literally 'to feel toward.' Attemptable means able to be attempted. The root temptare also gives us 'temptation' (a testing), 'tempter,' and 'contempt' (to test together, then scorn). The PIE root *ten- meant 'to stretch,' so testing is stretching out to feel.
