appeasable

/æpˈizəbəl/ adj

Able to be calmed or pacified.

Word Origin From Latin ad- 'to' and pacem 'peace' — literally 'able to be brought to peace.' The verb appease means to calm or satisfy, and -able means 'capable of being.' The same root gives us peace, pacify, and pacifist. Interestingly, pay also comes from the same Latin root, because paying someone was originally a way to make peace.
