earlike

/ˈɪɹlaɪk/ adj

Resembling an ear (body part).

Word Origin 'Ear' from Old English 'ēare', and '-like' from 'līc' (body) — so 'earlike' means shaped like an ear. The same root gives us 'eared', 'earless', 'earlobe', 'eardrum', and even 'aural' (from Latin 'auris', a cognate). The PIE root *h₂ṓws is the ancient source for hearing organs across languages.
