trivially

/ˈtɹɪviəɫli/ adv

In a trivial manner.

Word Origin From Latin 'tri-' (three) and 'via' (road) — in ancient Rome, a trivium was a place where three roads met, a crossroads. Such places were common, everyday, so trivial came to mean ordinary, unimportant. That's why trivia refers to commonplace facts. The same 'via' gives us viaduct, previous (going before), and obvious (in the way). Trivially is the adverb.
