penetrability

/pˌɛnɪtɹəbˈɪlᵻɾi/ noun

The extent to which something is penetrable

Word Origin Penetrability comes from Latin penetrare 'to enter, pass into.' The root penetr- plus -able gives 'able to be penetrated,' and -ity makes it a noun: the quality of being penetrable.
