leasable

/ˈɫisəbəɫ/ adj

Able to be leased.

Word Origin Lease comes from Latin laxare 'to loosen, let go' — the idea is that you're releasing property for someone else's use. That's why we also have release (let go again) and relax (loosen again). The same root gives us lax, laxative, and slack. Leasable simply adds -able 'capable of,' so it's 'able to be let go.'
