hued

/ˈhjud/ adj

Colored; having a hue.

Word Origin Hue from Old English hīw 'color, appearance' — hued means having a particular color. The PIE root *ḱei- also gives us hide (skin, covering) and city (settlement). So hue is the 'appearance' of something, and hued is colored.
