unturned

/ənˈtɝnd/ adjective

not moved or changed from its original position or state

Word Origin Turn comes from Latin tornare 'to turn on a lathe,' from tornus 'lathe,' from Greek tornos. Unturned is simply not turned. The root gives us return, overturn, tour (a turning journey), and tornado (a twisting storm). So unturned means not rotated or not changed direction.
