unsent

/ʌnsˈɛnt/ adj

Not yet sent or transmitted.

Word Origin Sent is the past participle of send, from Proto-Germanic sandjaną, from PIE *sent- 'to go, head for a destination'. Unsent means not sent. The root also gives us send, sender, and resend. The PIE root *sent- also appears in sense (originally 'to find one's way') and scent (to track by smell), so unsent is part of a family of 'going' and 'perceiving' words.
