scorebook

/skˈɔɹbʊk/ noun

A book in which the score for a game or sport is noted.

Word Origin Score from Old Norse skor 'notch, tally' — because people used to keep count by cutting notches on a stick. A score also came to mean twenty, from the practice of marking every twentieth notch. Book from Old English bōc, originally 'beechwood' for writing tablets. So a scorebook is a 'tally-book.' The root skor also gives us scoreboard, scorecard, and scorer. The PIE root *sker- 'to cut' also gives us shear, share, and shard.
