prudishness

/ˈpɹudɪʃnəs/ noun

The condition of being prudish; prudery

Word Origin Prude comes from Old French prode 'worthy, good,' from Latin prodesse 'to be useful, good.' But the meaning shifted to someone excessively concerned with propriety. Prudishness is the quality of being prude-ish. The same root gives us proud and pride (from the same sense of worthiness). The -ish and -ness suffixes build the noun. So prudishness is a twisted kind of 'goodness.'
