guessable

/ɡˈɛsəbəl/ adj

Capable of being guessed.

Word Origin From Middle English gessen, from Proto-Germanic getan 'to get, grasp.' To guess is to try to grasp an answer without certainty. The Latin suffix -able makes it 'able to be guessed.' The root getan also gives us get, forget (to lose grasp), beget (to get offspring). So guessable is literally 'able to be grasped.'
