chitterlings

/ˈtʃɪtɝɫɪŋz/ noun B2

the small intestines of a pig, cooked and eaten as food

Word Origin Chitterlings, or chitlins, are fried pig intestines, and the word comes from Proto-Germanic kwiþuz 'belly, womb' with the diminutive suffix -ling — so literally 'little belly things.' The same root kwiþuz gives us quick (originally 'alive, living'), because the belly was seen as the seat of life. So chitterlings are etymologically 'little life parts.'
