sleeved

/ˈsɫivd/ adj

Having sleeves.

Word Origin From Proto-Germanic slūbijō 'sleeve' — the part of a garment that covers the arm. Sleeved simply means 'having sleeves'. The root is related to PIE *(s)leub- 'to hang down, slip', which also gives us slip and slipper. So a sleeve is something that slips over your arm. Related: sleeveless (without sleeves), shirtsleeve (the sleeve of a shirt).
